Dr Kok Wai Kin

Doctor of Business Administration

Dr Kok Wai Kin is a commercially astute finance and strategy leader with over 25 years of senior leadership experience across the hospitality, education, banking, trading, non-profit, and public service sectors. He has a proven track record in turnaround management, financial governance, capital management, and business model innovation, having operated at Board, C-suite, and General Manager levels.


Key highlights include rebuilding finance and procurement functions, delivering significant cost savings and deficit reductions, managing a $423 million investment portfolio, and guiding organisations through periods of crisis, restructuring, and growth. He has held senior positions such as Group Financial Controller, Director (Finance & Purchasing), General Manager, Managing Director, and Director of Finance.


Academically, he holds a Doctor of Business Administration, along with extensive professional certifications in accountancy, governance, risk, tax, digital finance, and adult learning. Beyond his corporate roles, he is actively engaged in community leadership, education advisory work, and sports development, demonstrating a strong commitment to impact-driven leadership.

Mr Daniel Tay

Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality & Tourism Management

Mr Tay Sui Leng is a highly accomplished hospitality and business management educator with over 30 years of extensive experience across the hospitality, tourism, food & beverage, and training sectors. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality and Tourism Management (with distinction) from Queen Margaret University, along with diplomas with honours in Hotel and Motel Management and Hotel Operational Management. An ACTA-certified adult educator since 2011 and a registered MOE school instructor since 2021, he has delivered training in corporate, government, and academic settings, specialising in service operations, food safety, digital business tools, and workplace effectiveness.


Throughout his career, Mr Tay has held senior leadership roles in both Singapore and regional hospitality businesses, including general management and consultancy positions in hotels and resorts. His qualifications span WSQ certifications, ICDL digital competencies, ISO auditing, and business analytics, allowing him to bridge traditional operational expertise with modern technology and customer service strategies. Known for his engaging teaching style and strong learner rapport, Tay integrates practical industry knowledge with applied learning—preparing students for real-world success in hospitality management, operations, and business development.

Mr Juffri Bin Abdullah

Bachelor of Accounting

Mr Juffri Bin Abdullah is an experienced lecturer with a solid foundation in accountancy and over 30 years of industry experience spanning business development, strategic management, and financial planning. He holds a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Canterbury and is ACCA-qualified, complemented by professional certifications in digital business strategy, data analytics, and adult education. His academic credentials are underpinned by hands-on exposure to a wide range of business functions, including managing profit and loss, budgeting, and leading digital transformation projects that incorporate AI tools into business operations.


In his current role as an adult educator, Mr Abdullah delivers WSQ-accredited programmes in business-focused areas such as customer management, automation, and AI-driven innovation. His previous executive roles, including Director at Metacorp Technologies and Managing Director at Automat Engineering, enable him to bring real-world business insights into the classroom. He is recognised for bridging academic theory with practical experience, equipping learners with the strategic, operational, and technological skills needed to thrive in today’s fast-evolving business landscape.

Mr Vincent Wong

Master of Business Administration

Mr Vincent Wong is an accomplished adult educator and training consultant with over 25 years of leadership, operational, and instructional experience across the food and beverage, hospitality, and retail industries. He holds a Master of Business Administration from De Montfort University (UK) and is ACTA-certified, with specialist expertise in WSQ-accredited training. Vincent has held adjunct lecturer and assessor roles at institutions such as SHATEC, ICAS Training and Education College, and Guildford Training Centre, where he has delivered a wide range of courses in food safety and hygiene, customer service, operational cost control, and workplace safety. His learner-centred approach and clear communication style have consistently earned strong feedback from both trainees and academic supervisors.


Before transitioning to the education sector, Mr Wong built a solid foundation in industry through a progressive 20-year career with KFC Management Pte Ltd, where he rose from Trainee Manager to Area Manager and Field Training Executive. He later moved into regional business development at Ban Hock Hin Co. Pte Ltd, managing sales, marketing, and retail expansion across several Asian markets. His professional background enables him to integrate practical industry insights into his teaching, enhancing relevance and learner engagement. Bilingual in English and Mandarin, Vincent is well-equipped to support diverse student cohorts and align vocational training with real-world demands.
